| I have this teacher who I believe makes it a point to refer to God every day we have class. Now most of you may say, hey, thats pretty cool. Well thats not the case. This teacher thinks that by refering to God as a quesiotnable being, she is being partial to her true beliefs. does that make sense. For example, today this guy says, ok so do you hate God or something. She said...and i quote..."Heavens no, I never said I hated God, if there is one, I just dont think it is relevant to share my personal beliefs in class, they arent relevant to this particular class." Ok, notice that in the middle of what she said, she says, "IF THERE IS ONE" This is something she says every time she says God(if there is one). So, I simply in the "quietness" of myself say, then why do you make it a point to say, "if there is one." I received a small glance, and then class was over.
The purpose of this entry...why do people make it a point to share with everyone that they dont believe in God, but for us that do, why do we try to make it a point to make sure people dont know we believe in God? Why is it easier for someone to say, I dont believe in God and it remains so hard for us as Chrisitans to say, yes I believe. Why are we hesitant to stand up for the God that gives us life and loves us so much its unexplainable? I hope that someday, it becomes just the opposite. Any thoughts???
