Well, I will say, I havent posted in a while but I thought I might intrique you all with my thoughts as we approach Easter.

I have been much more aware of Holy Week this year than ever.  Beginning last Sunday with an awesome concert and time of quietness and worship with Robbie Seay Band and Waterdeep and then last night at Harvester Nazarenes Good Friday service it has been quite a week.  A time of remembering the greatest gift ever given.  I hope all of you have taken time this week to remember what Christ did for us.  I also pray that you all have a blessed Easter and celebrate fully the new life that Christ has given us ALL the opportunity to have.

Its so scary that Satan uses even those closest to you to bring you down and make you feel 2 feet tall.

I think I have officially made my decision to move out and go on campus.  Its most definitely worth the extra 6000 a year.  Definitely Absolutely, 100% worth it.  5 months...

I have some other decisions to make so please be in prayer as I think about these things...

I have this teacher who I believe makes it a point to refer to God every day we have class.  Now most of you may say, hey, thats pretty cool.  Well thats not the case.  This teacher thinks that by refering to God as a quesiotnable being, she is being partial to her true beliefs.  does that make sense.  For example, today this guy says, ok so do you hate God or something.  She said...and i quote..."Heavens no, I never said I hated God, if there is one, I just dont think it is relevant to share my personal beliefs in class, they arent relevant to this particular class."  Ok, notice that in the middle of what she said, she says, "IF THERE IS ONE"  This is something she says every time she says God(if there is one).  So, I simply in the "quietness" of myself say, then why do you make it a point to say, "if there is one."  I received a small glance, and then class was over.

The purpose of this entry...why do people make it a point to share with everyone that they dont believe in God, but for us that do, why do we try to make it a point to make sure people dont know we believe in God?  Why is it easier for someone to say, I dont believe in God and it remains so hard for us as Chrisitans to say, yes I believe.  Why are we hesitant to stand up for the God that gives us life and loves us so much its unexplainable?  I hope that someday, it becomes just the opposite.  Any thoughts???

Rob Bell video Bullhorn---

God loves everybody no matter what right?  So as a Christian we should really focus on loving one all the time. God tells us that we should love him and others all the same, which is unconditionally.  Even though it is so hard sometimes to get along with people around us, friends, co-workers, family whoever we should always love them.  We disagree with others about different beliefs they have, especially religion and moral standards and even petty little things that we shouldnt.  The thing is, were supposed to love one another just as we love God.  God doesnt seperate the love we are to give him and the love we are to give to others.  So...maybe the best way to show our love for God, is to show our love for others no matter how hard it may be.

I just want to thank all you FBC students for being so quiet last night and really paying attention.  It really helps me to keep focused and stuff when I have your attention. Thank you.

Just really take what I said last night to heart.  It really is important that we find time in our busy crazy schedules to find time for God to let him talk.  He has every answer we need.  the key is to listen and let him work through our thoughts.  Sometimes you may find that something your going through isnt as big of a mess as you thought.

Be Still and know that I am God...   Psalm 46:10
